- Mr. Walter Kalasooriya,
the owner of the Visiki Art Gallery
was born on 11th April, 1945 at Demataluwa a picturesque
farming village in the North Western Province of Sri Lanka.
He is a graduated artist from Academy of Fine Arts, Madras,
India.

Then he ventured as a free lance Artist and won the Presidental
award in 1987 and able to continue it upto year 2004. He has
won International Awards too.
Currently he is living at Ahangama, a beautiful village
between Galle and Matara and at there he is conducting
the ‘VISIKI ART
GALLLRY’.
